Robin Marc founded R-Aligned after more than 20 years in the financial industry, combining consulting, banking, and private equity experience across France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

He began his career in consulting within major international firms, leading risk management transformation and regulatory implementation programs for mid-sized and large European banks.

He then served as Head of Risk Management at a leading European private bank in Luxembourg, where he managed a team of over 20 professionals and obtained CSSF approval for his function.

Before creating R-Aligned, Robin was Partner and Conducting Officer at a private equity firm investing in emerging markets. There, he led the Finance and Risk Management teams, implemented ESG integration both at firm and investee level, and ensured alignment with new sustainability regulations such as SFDR.

He has been an active member of ABBL (Association des Banques et Banquiers Luxembourgeois) and LPEA (Luxembourg Private Equity Association), contributing to the dialogue on risk and sustainability practices in Luxembourg’s financial ecosystem.

Robin holds:

• a Specialized Master’s degree in Law and International Management from HEC Paris,

• a Master’s in Business Law from Paris II – Assas, and

• a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Business Law and Taxation from Paris V – Descartes.

He is Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) certified by GARP, and trained in carbon footprint methodologies by the Institut Français du Carbone and Carbone 4.
